Lighting Analysts UK (LAUK) was founded by Chris Jackson is 1998. With over 26-years experience in the architectural lighting industry, Chris worked as a lighting designer from 1992 - 1999, before graduating from The Bartlett, UCL with a Master's degree (MSc: Lighting & Lighting). From 1999-2011, Chris joined The Bartlett, UCL as a Research Fellow, running the in-house variable luminance artificial sky & consultancy, aiding in the analysis of daylight within 3D physical and virtual architectural models. He also engaged in lighting research and taugh subjects such as Lighting Fundamentals, Daylight, Lighting Design and Lighting Software to MSc Environmental Design students.
Lighting Analysts Ltd (LAL) was founded in 2008, to provide a wide range of lighting consultancy services. Since 2014, LAL has focused on Climate-based Daylight Modelling, working directly with leading main contractors, as part of the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) Priority School Building Programme (PSBP).
Lighting Analysts have also been the European distributor for Lighting Analysts Inc (LAI) software products since 1998, helping to sell, promote & support LAI software products within the UK & Europe. AGI32.com
